Pulse InfoFrame
Delivered Human Driven Development coaching to a 15-person engineering team, transforming team morale and communication through tailored presentation and individual mentoring.

The Challenge
The engineering leadership at Pulse InfoFrame was facing a critical challenge with their 15-person engineering team. Comprised mostly of junior engineers, the team was struggling with low morale, communication barriers, and project management inefficiencies that were impacting both productivity and job satisfaction.
The Head of Product and Engineering recognized that technical skills alone weren't enough—they needed to inspire their engineers, build confidence, and create a more collaborative and supportive team culture. They sought an experienced voice who could connect with their team and provide both inspiration and practical guidance.
The Human Driven Development Approach
Phase 1: Team Discovery
Before the presentation, I distributed a comprehensive survey to all 15 team members to understand their unique perspectives, challenges, and aspirations. This wasn't just data collection—it was about ensuring every voice was heard and that the upcoming session would directly address their real-world pain points.
Phase 2: The HDD Presentation
I delivered a 1-hour presentation that wove together my career journey with the core principles of Human Driven Development. The session wasn't generic—I incorporated the survey results directly into the presentation, showing the team exactly how HDD principles could solve their specific challenges around morale, communication, and project management.
Phase 3: Individual Mentoring
Following the team session, I conducted one-on-one meetings with two developers that leadership had identified as having high growth potential. These weren't performance reviews—they were deep conversations about their unique struggles, career aspirations, and individual challenges. I provided each with a personalized roadmap for growth tailored to their specific role and career goals.

The Human Driven Development Philosophy
"Technology is only as good as the humans who build it. When we prioritize people—their growth, communication, and well-being—we create software that truly serves humanity."
This engagement with Pulse InfoFrame exemplified how Human Driven Development goes beyond code. By addressing the human elements of software development—morale, communication, individual growth—we created lasting improvements that enhanced both the team's effectiveness and job satisfaction.
